The Eyeless

The Eyeless are humanoid, though taller and thinner than an average person. Their bones are visible through their flesh and they are a livid purple color. The physical trait that truly stands out, though, are the mouths that occupy the space where their eyes should be. All three mouths have flat teeth that look too large to belong in that jaw. They also each have prehensile tongues that probe the air and senses, much like a snake’s does.

There are only about a dozen Eyeless in all of Lacerandam. They are often seen together, and are rarely ever seen with a daemon of any other kind. They are a coterie of mages that conduct ritualistic magic in Carnifice’s name, and their unique physical makeup allow them to perform verbally in ways no other priest can.

No Eyeless has ever been observed in any Realm other than Lacerandam. Though it is exceedingly rare to encounter them, they’ll never be alone. If an encounter leads to violence, they will always rely on their spells when possible, rather than physicality.
